Sue has had a sewing needle in her hand as far back as she can remember. Her “needle arts” progressed from sewing dolls and stuffed animals as a youngster and teen to intricate embroidery of all kinds. Sue’s new passion is beadweaving, in which each design is fashioned one teeny, tiny bead at a time using needle and thread--talk about attention to detail! Sue enjoys working with a variety of textures and colors to evoke different moods with beads for her sought-after jewelry and accessories. She most recently has begun creating Handfasting Cords for marriage ceremonies, an ancient tradition that is becoming an increasingly popular component to weave into contemporary celebrations.
