Julie Blakeman
Julie Blakeman has been interested in all things arts and crafts since she was a young girl. She has explored all types of arts from paper quilling, sewing, drawing, watercolor painting. She gets most enjoyment from knitting and oil painting. In 2015 she began to take oil painting
classes at Project Art in Southport. There her very patient and talented teacher introduced her to oil painting by the way of theorems on velvetine. Two fruit bowls and a sunflower theorem later Julie began to embrace more whimsical free drawn pieces that better suited her personality. After moving to Milford in 2020 she decided to turn her hobby into a business by joining the artists at Art Fish 42.
